Harris County Sheriff’s Office District 5 Patrol deputies and deputy constables of Harris County Precinct 4 are being credited with the capture of three suspects who had attempted to rob the Cash Store located in the 12200 block of Jones Road in northwest Harris County. Investigators say that Jaelon Harris (DOB 03/24/98) and Christian Dorsey (DOB 11/02/98) entered the store around 2:30 pm yesterday Monday, January 2, 2017. Harris entered the store armed with a pistol, while Dorsey came in with a plastic bag to collect the currency. They ordered the store employees to hand over the cash from the drawers and safe. Suspect Jawuan Williams was driving the getaway vehicle parked in front of the business. The manager was unable to open the store safe, due to a power outage in the area. Harris and Dorsey then fled the store. A description of the green colored Honda Accord with a temporary license plate was broadcast over the radio to HCSO personnel and other law enforcement agencies in the area. A descriptor of their clothing was also included. At around 3:20 pm deputies with Harris County Constables Precinct 4 spotted the vehicle driving near State Highway 249 and Cypresswood. The vehicle and the occupants matched the description of the suspects and a traffic stop was conducted. Robbery investigators brought witnesses to the scene and Harris and Dorsey were identified as the two men who entered the business, and Williams was recognized as the driver of the getaway vehicle. All three men are charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Their mugshots are in order of listing. A great job to the deputies of HCSO and HCP4 for their quick actions and spirit of inter law enforcement cooperation for the capture and arrest of these suspects.
